Welcome to Ball of Names. By accessing or using ballofnames.com (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

Ball of Names is a free entertainment and decision-making tool. You may use it for personal, educational and commercial purposes, such as classroom activities, events, giveaways and live streams, as long as you follow these terms and all applicable laws.

2. Your content

You are responsible for the names, photos and other content you add to the Service. Only upload photos you have the right to use, and do not add content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that infringes anyone's rights. Your content stays in your own browser and is not uploaded to us.

3. Giveaways, raffles and contests

If you use Ball of Names to pick winners for a giveaway, raffle, sweepstake or contest, you are solely responsible for running it in line with the laws of your country and the rules of any platform you use. The Service is not a gambling service and must not be used for illegal gambling.

4. Randomness and results

Every race and spin is seeded with your browser’s cryptographically secure generator (crypto.getRandomValues()). Races then resolve through physics, not a pre-chosen name. Results are still for entertainment and convenience. You are responsible for any decision you make based on a result.

5. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties, and we are not responsible for the content of advertisements or the websites they link to. Please do not click ads unless you are genuinely interested in them. Use of advertising data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Ball of Names name, logo, design, code and written content are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, resell or republish the Service itself without our written permission. Sharing links to the site and recording races for videos or streams is welcome.

7. Acceptable behaviour

You agree not to interfere with the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, use automated tools to generate artificial ad impressions or clicks, or use it in any way that could harm the Service or other users.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
